We sell seats for motorsport of the highest quality. We have eg bowl seats, racing seats from Sparco, Sabelt, OMP. - FIA seats - When driving motorsport, the seat you fit in the car must be approved. This will often be an FIA approved seat. FIA approved seats have an expiration date, this is often 5 years from the date the seat is produced, an automated extension of up to 2 years can be made can be given by return and inspection by the manufacturer, this, unfortunately, can not be answered in many cases.

You must check whether the motorsport you are driving has the rule which simply requires that the seat is FIA approved, but may well have expired, here you may be lucky to buy a used bowl seat. A bowl seat is not always comfortable to sit in, but this is not the top priority either, the purpose of a motorsport seat is that it should keep you firm and stable in a position so that you can drive the car optimally.

There is a difference between seats and how they are built. Some seats are made in a tubular frame and others in fiberglass. A fiberglass seat is more comfortable to sit in as it does not have the pipes that can press against eg your hips, however, a fiberglass cup seat is somewhat more expensive, but often also smaller.
