High-pressure fuel pump

High pressure pumps for TFSI / TSI motor. High-pressure pumps are mounted in eg BMW N54 engine from 2008 onwards. They are also fitted in many newer VAG cars such as the TFSI and TSI engines. High-pressure pumps are used on cars with direct injection where the injection time is limited. The pumps are often pulled by the camshaft. Original pumps can break and for this, it can also be an advantage to upgrade to a quality pump from eg Autotech. The price of such a pump or upgrade to it is unfortunately relatively high, but the reason for this is that it is made in very high-quality material as well as with very high precision and tolerances. Mounting these pumps does not increase the effect by itself, they increase the amount of fuel that can be delivered to the nozzles, and thus you can further tune the engine.
