The absolute best in charge pressure control can be done by a Stage3 VEMS control box , or a Megasquirt2 engine control box. Boost-control function works better than eg E-boost2 and similar products, as megasquirt controls boost based on engine revs and at the same time from the car's accelerator position. In this way, it is possible to accelerate controlled even in a very heavily tuned car, as Megasquirt2 does not let the charging pressure suddenly increase, if, for example, TPS (accelerator position) is only 50%. This makes it much more comfortable to drive a heavily pumped turbo car because you are a total master of the car yourself. A further feature that should definitely be mentioned is that with charge pressure control, it is possible to create a completely identical torque, regardless of the number of revolutions, and thus to let the engine keep the torque all the way up the revolutions, a brilliant effect: - the charge pressure typically increases with revolutions, and this is much better for the engine than one's charge pressure.
