The dial is black behind dark tinted glass, with dark silver gray border. When powered on, fine numbers are displayed on the dial, and a red indicator can move 270 degrees (0RPM is vertical down / 3000RPM is horizontal left / 7000RPM is vertical / 10000RPM is horizontal right). This series is fully digital, the pointer is pulled by an electric stepper motor, which makes it more accurate, super fast, and has the opportunity to set set points with alarm, where an external alarm lamp (shift ligth) can also be connected (purchased separately). Another nice detail is the very low installation depth, which is less than 3cm including plug.
