When you mount a larger air mass meter (Audi TT or VR6), your engine control will read a smaller number from your sensor. If you do not install a larger air mass meter, then your engine control will switch off and report an error code on the air mass meter, as it will give an excessive number.

Should you have tuned your VAG car - VW Golf 4 - Seat or similar. the car must be chipped. There you need a larger air mass meter that can measure a larger amount of air which gives a smaller signal to the engine control. Can be used up to approx. 350 hp.

Audi TT connectors are square at one end and round at the other end.
