Nipple adapter is available with several types of threads, both metric and NPT. For example. we have nipple adapter with metric thread:
AN4 - M8 x1 - (M8 = 8.0 millimeters in external thread diameter - The last number is thread increment (millimeters) per lap).
or:
AN4 - 1/4 "NPT - (1/4" = 6.35 millimeters of internal piercing) 13.16 millimeters in outside diameter.
Here you can not just calculate the outside diameter, so use a thread table.
